NetScanTools LE (Law Enforcement) is an Internet Information collection software tool for Windows that gives you information and reports about an IP Address, Hostname, Domain Name, Email Address or URL (web address). It was designed especially for Law Enforcement. We took our law enforcement customer's favorite tools, streamlined them into a new interface and made the program 'case' oriented. 'Case' oriented means that all your network queries are documented, time stamped and saved automatically. Reports are direct and to the point. Manual Tools include Bulk IP/Hostname Translation, DNS Tools - Core, Email Validate, Finger, IP to Country, Ping, Ping Sweep, Port Scanner, Real Time Blacklist Check, Text Only Web Page Grabber, Traceroute, Who is and a Packet Capture tool. The Automated Tools engine operates many Manual Tools as a group using a single data input. Investigators can use the manual or automatic tools at their discretion to get results.
While there are many internet information gathering tools available both free and for purchase, our tool offers something different: a completely integrated case database for automatically storing the results of your queries. We also use hash signatures to help show that the data in the database has not been altered and we also save hash companion files for exported results files. We have made the tools simple and easy to use for less technically inclined users.
